The event marks the brand’s 11th iteration since it started.
Abu Dhabi is no stranger to interesting events. 2025 has already kicked off with an epic performance from Coldplay, and many other exciting experiences are on their way. One of these is Prada Mode, which is making its debut in Abu Dhabi this year.
Taking place in February at the MiZa district in Mina Zayed, Prada Mode promises an immersive fashion-forward exploration. For the first two days, 11 and 12 February, Prada Mode will be an exclusive members’ event, but on 13 and 14 February, it will open its doors to the public, inviting all to explore its creative offerings.
This limited-time pop-up by the Italian luxury brand Prada is set to be a feast for the senses. It will combine art, music, and culinary offerings with an immersive architectural experience. Hosted in collaboration with Theaster Gates, MiZa will be transformed into a space that combines minimality with rich historical craft.
Prada Mode Abu Dhabi will feature two distinct aspects. A cylindrical structure will divide the room into two parts. One will offer a calm ambience with acoustic music sets, while the other will be alive with energy, hosting live performances and DJ sets. The musical program will focus on local and regional talent, with a particular emphasis on the voices of Arab women.
The event will also offer a rich culinary experience, curated by chef Salam Daqqaq from Bait Maryam in Dubai. The menu will highlight the diverse communities of Abu Dhabi and the wider UAE, celebrating their rich flavours and stories.
For the uninitiated, Prada Mode is a travelling social club focused on contemporary culture. It’s a space where art, music, dining, and thought-provoking conversations come together. The aim is to create an immersive environment that celebrates creativity and modern culture, allowing guests to engage with the art world in a unique and intimate way.
Prada Mode has travelled around the world, and in 2022, it made a stop in Dubai. There, it featured an installation by world-renowned artist Damien Hirst, showcasing Prada’s commitment to contemporary art and cultural dialogue. This upcoming activation in Abu Dhabi is set to build on that legacy, offering a new experience to all.
Entry to Prada Mode Abu Dhabi is free for all.
