The event will take place from 16 to 18 May at The St. Regis Red Sea Resort.
Saudi Arabia, get ready because a new fashion week is headed to the Kingdom, and it’s not Riyadh Fashion Week. The Kingdom is all set to host the inaugural Red Sea Fashion Week. Set against the waters of Ummahat Island, this event is scheduled to take place from 16 to 18 May at The St. Regis Red Sea Resort.
Organised by the Saudi Fashion Commission, Red Sea Fashion Week will showcase local and international designers. This debut edition aims to celebrate the fusion of traditional Saudi aesthetics with cutting-edge contemporary design.
Among the highlights is the participation of Saudi 100 Brands, an initiative spearheaded by the Fashion Commission to support and promote emerging local talent. You can expect a dazzling display of luxury fashion, jewellery, and ready-to-wear styles. While the brands participating are still under wraps, you can expect a variety of local and luxury fashion labels to become a part of the event.
The Red Sea Fashion Week promises to return each year and follows in the footsteps of the highly successful Riyadh Fashion Week — another flagship event hosted by the Saudi Fashion Commission. Since its inception last year, Riyadh Fashion Week has become a testament to the evolving fashion scene of the Kingdom.
With the debut of the Red Sea Fashion Week and the return of Riyadh Fashion Week later this year, Saudi Arabia is firmly establishing itself as a global fashion hub.
Prepare to witness fashion history in the making.
