The brand makes its debut in the Sultanate.

Oman is home to luxurious resorts. Now, the Sultanate is about to get more luxurious, as Mandarin Oriental, Muscat has opened its doors. The luxurious property is located in the capital’s Shatti Al-Qurum district, promising a blend of ancient architecture and cultural experiences. Just a 20-minute drive from Muscat International Airport, Mandarin Oriental, Muscat is a stone’s throw away from Qurum Beach and the Royal Opera House Muscat.

Mandarin Oriental, Muscat is set to be a spectacular five-star hotel with Insta-worthy views. The hotel includes 103 rooms and 47 suites, which have been created by the French interior designer Xavier Cartron. The rooms start from 50 metres square, and visitors can choose from rooms with views of the sea and Hajar Mountains. The hotel is heavily inspired by the Omani culture. The decor blends Omani design elements with contemporary chic, featuring traditional patterns, lanterns, and an old-world charm without compromising luxury. Wooden doors and Omani craftsmanship are on display throughout the property along with three fountains in the lobby. These pay homage to Oman’s cultural landscape that offers a mix of Middle East, Africa and Asia.
