The restaurant is renowned for its fine-dining spin on Lebanese cuisine.

World Cup excitement may have come and gone, but Doha continues to be on our radar for its ever-evolving culinary scene. Qatar’s capital is now home to Em Sherif Restaurant, the fine-dining concept by restaurateur Mireille Hayek. Located at entertainment and leisure destination Al Maha Island, the new outpost exhibits Hayek’s unique take on Lebanese cuisine, one that evokes fond memories of home cooking.

Complementing the expansive seafront terrace are interiors designed by the award-winning interior architect, Ramy Boutros. The restaurant features hand-selected and intricately embroidered chair designs – representing the Hayek family’s culture and history – and beautiful bespoke tiles with stylish silhouettes of botanical accents and delicate gold leaves. Designed to represent Lebanese architectural heritage, Em Sherif promises an elevated dining experience to guests.

Em Sherif Restaurant in Doha will be the ultimate new waterfront venue, combining exceptional dining with the warmth of Levantine hospitality to enjoy with family and friends alike.”

Renowned for its refined twist to Lebanese cuisine, Em Sherif Restaurant Doha is open for lunch and dinner, offering both a curated set menu and à la carte menu by chef Mireille Hayek and her daughter, chef Yasmina Hayek. Collectively, they choose ingredients intended to surprise – and delight – guests through innovative dishes.

On the menu at this new location? Wagyu Hummus, the signature Fattoush Salad with pomegranate molasses, and the beloved Em Ali (a vanilla-infused milk, nuts and puff pastry). It’s all accented with tunes spun by Em Sherif’s in-house DJs, translating to a Lebanese meal that always feels atypical. Elsewhere, the group continues to expand globally through concepts like Em Sherif Café, Em Sherif Sea Café, and Em Sherif The Deli.
