The Ministry of Culture’s Food Culture Festival is returning to Saudi Arabia. The event takes place across the Kingdom from Al Khobar and Jeddah to Riyadh. So, if you’re looking for family-friendly fun and a whole lot of food, here’s what you need to know.
The funky food festival takes place from 29 January to 2 February in Khobar, 5 to 9 February in Riyadh, and 12 to 16 February in Jeddah. The event has been created in collaboration with the Quality of Life Programme.
The Ministry of Culture’s Food Culture Festival showcases international as well as local cuisine, which includes Saudi Arabian cuisine. The festival aims to enhance the awareness of global as well as local culinary arts, create a cultural exchange and create unique experiences through activities.
At the Ministry of Culture’s Food Culture Festival, there are four zones offering different experiences. The zones include the Exhibitors Area, Kids Area, Theater Area and Workshops Area.
The Exhibitors Area features 30 booths offering a wide range of cuisine. Bring your appetite, as stalls will offer dishes such as pancakes, pizzas, ice cream, and waffles.
The Kids Area offers educational activities, which include cooking classes and competitions. The Workshops Area gives you the chance to watch chefs in action in live cooking demonstrations. The Theater Are will boast live music and entertainment.
