The video shows the luxury hotel under construction.

Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea megaproject is one of the most ambitious developments in the country. The site boasts dazzling developments, from regenerative tourism initiatives to luxury hotels. If you’re having a hard time imagining it all, Six Senses Southern Dunes has released a new video, which shows that the hotel is almost constructed.

Red Sea Global shared the video, and the caption explained: “From concept to completion – our team is applying the finishing touches at @sixsensessoutherndunes #TheRedSea. With a stunning, sustainable design by @fosterandpartners, every detail tells a story. Get ready for an unforgettable experience at @VisitRedSea’s first resort!”

Six Senses Southern Dunes’ video shows the hotel’s sprawling site, which is located in the heart of the desert. The clips show the flowers, palm trees and inside one of the rooms. Plus, we can see the builders at work, as they bring Foster + Partners’ architectural vision to life.

Six Senses Southern Dunes draws its inspiration from traditional Bedouin hospitality. The accommodation ranges from the Wadi Suite to Pool Villas, many of which include private pools. Plus, The Retreat spans three-bedrooms and includes a cinema room.

Red Sea Global has been releasing videos of updates across the site. Ummahat Islands is almost complete and will include Nujuma, A Ritz-Carlton Reserve and The St. Regis Red Sea Resort. The St. Regis Red Sea Resort is 93 per cent complete, and Nujuma, A Ritz-Carlton Reserve is 87 per cent complete.

Six Senses Southern Dunes is accepting reservations, and is welcoming guests from 1 December.
