The London-based restaurant is located in Sulaimaniyah.
Riyadh has established itself as a culinary hotspot in Saudi Arabia, attracting world-renowned dining concepts from across the globe. The capital recently welcomed the likes of Mr Chow, SUSHISAMBA and Zuma, and now, it’s preparing to welcome another addition to its gastronomic roster: Isabel Mayfair.
Situated in the heart of As Sulimaniyah, this venue, crafted by David T’kint of DTK Studio, exudes the charm of an art-deco mansion infused with Gatsby-era opulence. The space is divided into three distinct areas: an elegant dining room, a bright and airy conservatory, and a captivating speakeasy bar concealed behind a hidden door. Adding a modern twist, the interiors feature dynamic LED backdrops by Pulse, showcasing ever-evolving visuals that adapt to the mood and ambience of the day.
Isabel Mayfair brings Mediterranean-inspired cuisine to life with a refined touch, blending traditional French dining elegance with nostalgic English etiquette. The menu is a passionate collaboration between two talented chefs: Yago Crego, the Executive Head Chef, and Majed Albakheet, the Senior Head Chef in Riyadh. A graduate of Le Cordon Bleu in Paris and a notable contestant on Top Chef MENA Season 6, Majed has tailored Isabel Mayfair’s signature dishes to resonate with local palates.
Guided by the seasons, the menu emphasizes fresh, organic ingredients sourced from local farms, promoting sustainability for both body and planet while creating a soulful, social dining experience. Guests can indulge in highlights like a dreamy pistachio dip with a hint of spice, sea salt-kissed padron peppers, freshly baked focaccia with homemade paprika butter, creamy pastas, tender tomahawk steak, and a sticky date pudding draped in warm toffee sauce.
Situated near Tahlia Street and close to popular restaurants such as Beefbar and the FACT award-winning Jon & Vinny’s, Isabel Mayfair is set to bring its unique charm to an already lively locality. The arrival of Isabel Mayfair in Riyadh marks the brand’s first venture outside of London. However, the restaurant will also open this year in the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi, at The Galleria on Al Maryah Island.
So if you’re a foodie or simply looking for an extraordinary dining experience, Isabel Mayfair is ready to deliver. With a stellar reputation and a menu that promises to delight, this restaurant is poised to become a must-visit destination in Riyadh.
