Fahid Beach Club by Barbossa is heading to Al Fahid Island, Abu Dhabi. Opening on 8 November, the pop-up will offer a beautiful beachside escape, and has been created by the Latin American restaurant, Barbossa. Drawing inspiration from the Mediterranean, it brings together white sands, blue seas and soulful beats.
Fahid Beach Club aims to be a sanctuary showcasing laidback luxury. The venue combines a vibrant energy with a relaxed sophistication. The club will host a line-up of artists, which includes DJs putting on intimate performances. On 15 November, it will welcome DJs Sparrow and Barbossa, who blend Afro House and Caribbean music.
Guests can choose from a range of options from single and double beds to private cabanas. The design boasts a beige-and-white aesthetic with knitted parasols, rattan features and wooden beams. The venue is family-friendly and pet-friendly, and pets are welcome on leashes until 8pm. Plus, activities will be available including kayaking, kite surfing and paddle tennis.
Barbossa is a FACT Dining Award Abu Dhabi winner. The restaurant recently won the Favourite Latin American Restaurant at the tenth FACT Dining Awards Abu Dhabi. Situated in the pulsating heart of Yas Bay, Barbossa brings modern Mexican and Latin American cuisine to the capital.
Spearheaded by Chef Mina Mouris Zaki, the menu features Barbossa Ceviche, Carne Asada Tacos, Guac & Chips, OG Sizzling Fajitas and Tuna Ceviche Tostada. Plus, there is a lively bar scene that transitions the venue for daytime dining to after-dark revelry.
Fahid Beach Club in Abu Dhabi’s pop-up is open for six months. The venue is open from Fridays and Saturdays from 12pm to 10pm. Prices start from AED 150, and it is redeemable on food and drinks.
