Expect dining concepts and entertainment avenues on the stunning shoreline.

Dubai hosts its fair share of food festivals — each one more exciting than the next. This month, the emirate’s beloved Beach Canteen is making a return, bringing some of your favourite snack spots to the coast.

Taking place from 27 March to 13 April, the Beach Canteen will be held at Nessnass Beach in Jumeirah. For two weeks, you can indulge in delicious bites, melodic tunes and epic beachside vibes.

Beach Canteen will feature several zones, catering to entertainment, food, workshops, wellness activities and much more. Kicking things off will be the AWR Gastro Pier, offering views and elevated bites. Expect to indulge in artisanal coffees and pastries at The Exile and Bageri Form, or craft a unique scent at The Perfume Bar. For those who like to accessorise, the Black Pearl Charm Bar, promises a selection of charms for you to mix and match.

The Talabat Food Plaza brings a wide variety of UAE favourites to one location. Visit the likes of Flave DXB, SYOTG for juicy burgers, Local Foundry, Pastasole for your carb cravings, Creme London, Farmers Coffee, Local Coffee House, Bagel Bar, Boba Tea, Filli Cafe, Acai Hub and Sweet Dee’s Jerk for authentic Jamaican jerk dishes.

For more foodie options, the Beach Food Terrace brings the likes of Brooki to Dubai. After a successful stint in Abu Dhabi during the MOTN Festival, it’ll now line up cookie lovers in Dubai. Other spots to enjoy include Drip Burger, La Sauce Entrecote, Majlis and Project Chaiwala.

If you thought that was it from the dining angle, you’re mistaken because the Tasty Quarter zone has plenty on the agenda as well. Featuring HummCrumbs, Marsh’n’mallow, Potaters, Coco Club, Chacha Matcha, House of Pops, La Morita and Meokja, there’s plenty for you to sink your teeth into.

The Chef’s Table zone will feature some of the big guns from the culinary world who’ll make it to the Beach Canteen as well as skilled home cooks. Here, they’ll teach you how to whip the perfect matcha, make a perfect swirl on a cupcake and roast the perfect cup of Joe.

On the entertainment front, Beach Canteen will feature a lineup of artists gracing the stage. Some names to spot include Maydan, Osama and African Drummers.

Beach Canteen will also house a Fitness zone this year, where you can try your hand at Tai Chi, beach yoga and pilates, and much more.

These consist of learning how to make your own body scrub, macrame and much more. The children too have a wide selection to choose from such as Beads Bracelet Making, DIY Lip Gloss, Sand Art and Resin Workshops.

On the other hand, the Emirati Family Pavilion will feature rides and activities, such as quad-bikes, bull-riding, trampolines and much more.
