This much-awaited foodie haven is back to delight diners.
With Dubai’s cooler weather finally returning, it’s time to pull up those hoodies and enjoy chilled evenings under the stars. And what better way to embrace the great outdoors than by visiting Canteen X. Taking place until 31 December, Canteen X is a foodie haven that’s setting up camp at Mushrif Park, where you’ll be treated to fantastic flavours and entertainment for all ages.
For this year’s edition of the popular food festival, Canteen X will bring 24 of Dubai’s most beloved homegrown brands to Mushrif Park. These brands will be divided into four flavour zones that promise unique culinary experiences. Six playful characters, Twirlo, Bunzi, Pizzani, Matcho, Scoopi, and Mallow, will guide you through these zones, promising a wholesome foodie extravaganza.
First up is the Savory Freej Zone, led by Twirlo, Bunzi, and Pizzani. If you love savoury foods, this is where you need to be to try Dubai’s most innovative dishes. You can also enjoy live cooking demos and exotic flavour blends within this zone.
For those with a sweet tooth, Scoopi takes you into a sugary wonderland. From create-your-own desserts to candy-inspired settings, this zone is not only guaranteed to give you a sugar rush but also get those likes on the gram.
Matcha lovers, you’ve got an entire zone dedicated to your love for this green grass. Led by Matcho, make your way to the Matcha Mania Zone, where you can purchase your favourite matcha beverages and try other food items made of matcha. Matcha ice creams, cookies and matcha more. You can also participate in workshops that will teach you how to make popular beverages.
Last is the Kiddie Kingdom Zone because the little ones deserve to have fun too. With jumping castles and crafts workshops, they’re guaranteed to have a ball of a time.
Apart from food, Canteen X will also host several performances and retail outlets. Get ready to groove to the DJ’s tunes or enjoy Emirati Oud performances to add a dash of culture to your celebrations. And if you happen to be visiting Canteen X, don’t forget to catch the screening of X Factor on the venue’s giant screens.
Canteen X is open daily from 4pm to 12am on weekdays and until 1am on weekends. Entry is absolutely free.
