The restaurant is located in The Lana Promenade by Dorchester Collection.

Dubai, here’s a dining date for your diary. Dragonfly will open at The Lana Promenade by Dorchester Collection. The new venue has been created by Alexander Orlov and Reif Othman, and combines Japanese flavours with Pan-Asian influence.

Dragonfly’s menu combines traditional Japanese flavours with innovative culinary techniques. The menu includes high-quality ingredients, and showcases caviar, seafood and wagyu. The signature dishes include Bluefin Tuna Carpaccio with clementine ponzu, Salmon Tataki with Asian pesto, and Wagyu Tartare with truffle mayo.

Seafood dishes include Hokkaido Scallop with uni in a yuzu-miso sauce, Cristal bread topped with black caviar. There is a selection of dim sums, nigiri and sashimi. Plus, desserts range from Matcha Molten Cake to Salted Caramel Gelato.

Dragonfly offers a day-to-night experience, and brings together resident and guest DJs. The cocktail menu is inspired by the Seven Values of the Samurai, which pays homage to the moral code once followed by the samurai class. The drinks cover core value: Jin (merciful), Rei (respect), Gi (righteousness), Yu (courage), Makoto (honesty), Chugi (loyalty), and Meiyo (honour).

Dragonfly boasts a dramatic dining experience. The space includes a eight-metre high ceiling with Japanese vases and Kokeshi dolls. Plus, there is a red glass bar, dragonfly sculpture and views of the Burj Khalifa.
