The restaurant follows a single-set menu and does not accept reservations.
The UAE’s culinary landscape already features some of the world’s most sought-after dining concepts. With restaurants coming to Dubai from London, New York, Singapore, and Tokyo, the city has welcomed yet another concept that’s guaranteed to wow diners: Le Relais De L’Entrecôte, which hails from Paris.
Located in The Opus by Omniyat in Business Bay, the restaurant takes over the space formally occupied by Basko. The interiors of Le Relais De L’Entrecôte reflect its Parisian counterpart and feature large mirrors, vintage posters and a heavy influence of red.
The food is the star of the show, especially the beloved steak and fries. Le Relais De L’Entrecôte believes in the concept of less is more, offering just one menu item in addition to a selection of beverages and decadent desserts. This will consist of a Green Walnut Salad and an extra-tender Sirloin Steak served with their secret sauce and fries. This winning combo has kept diners coming back for more.
But that doesn’t mean the fancy French restaurant doesn’t pride itself on its desserts. In fact, one of their most popular sellers is the Chocolate Profiteroles. These choux-pastry buns are filled with vanilla ice cream, and an extra bit of hot chocolate sauce and toasted almonds on top give them that quintessential French kick.
Le Relais de l’Entrecôte Dubai doesn’t accept reservations, so be prepared to queue. Apart from the Paris beach, which was established in 1959, the brand also has branches across Switzerland. However, the Dubai outpost will mark the restaurant’s first foray into the Middle East.
So, if you’re in the mood for a classic French dining experience, the new restaurant at The Opus is the place to be.
