A touch of Madrid has landed in Dubai. The Spanish-born brand Darkom Lounge has opened in Al Habtoor Polo Resort. So, if you’re after a swanky spot, here’s what you need to know. 

In 2012, Darkom Lounge was founded in Barrio de las Letras, Madrid. Mli Badreddine is behind the concept, which is inspired by the heritage of his hometown in Morrocco. Upon opening, Darkom Lounge was popular with celebrities, from athletes to creatives.

Darkom Lounge aims to offer refined relaxation. The venue can accommodate up to 110 people and offers a laid-back, luxurious vibe. The menu includes Spanish-inspired food and drinks, spanning salads to sangrias. The team aim to offer an authentic taste of Spain and use fine, seasonal ingredients. 

Darkom Lounge’s food menu spans chicken, croquettes, fish, meat, potatoes, salads and desserts. Salads include a Caesar Salad, Caprese Salad and Mediterranean Salad. Fish dishes include Calamares Plaza Mayor, Dynamite Shrimp and Norwegian Salmon. Meat dishes include Beef Sliders, Meatballs in Tomato Sauce and Meat Skewers. Desserts include a Chocolate Brownie, Homemade Cheesecake and Homemade Flan.

Darkom Lounge

Al Habtoor Polo Resort is an equestrian retreat boasting a polo field, stables, and equestrian training. The resort includes 126 guest rooms, from 30 suites to 10 villas. Plus, there are a range of restaurants and bars. The venues range from Italian food at Da Fausto to poolside bites and beverages at Oasis Pool Bar. 

Darkom Lounge is open daily from 11am to 3am.
