The restaurant will be located on Sheikh Zayed Road.

If you’re after the taste of Türkiye, we have some delicious news. The much-loved Turkish restaurant Etçi Umut will be making its way to Dubai. The new venue will be located high in the sky at DAMAC Maison Akyon City on Sheikh Zayed Road and is scheduled to open on Saturday, 22 February 2025.

Originating in Ankara, Turkey, the restaurant has expanded internationally, with locations in Baku, Azerbaijan. Etçi Umut in Dubai will be on the 11th floor of the building and will boast stunning views overlooking the skyline. On Instagram, the team have been teasing the public with images of the chef at work inside the kitchen, and a range of small and large dishes that diners can expect. One post shows sharing plates and the caption reads: “Etçi Umut’s delicious mezes! Get ready to meet exquisite flavours that will elevate your table”.

In Turkish, etçi umut translates to meaty hope. The restaurant is loved by locals and tourists and is famous for its meat. While the full menu for the new restaurant in Dubai has not yet been unveiled, we are expecting it to be similar to the ones in Türkiye. The menu there includes barbecue and steakhouse dishes, which can be cooked to your preference and range from Beef Ribs and Kasap Burgers to New York Steaks and Tomahawk Steaks.

DAMAC Maison Akyon City is located near the Dubai Canal. The building is home to serviced apartments, which range from rooms to suites. The venue also includes restaurants and bars. The restaurant and lounge showcase a contemporary design and all-day dining. The poolside café includes beverages and bites.
