The offshore resort is expected to reach completion within two years.
When it comes to iconic hotels, Dubai doesn’t mess around. From the ultra-luxurious Atlantis The Royal to Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab, the city knows how to roll out the hospitality red carpet. Now, the emirate is preparing to unveil the region’s first Buddha-Bar Hotel and Floating Villas and Buddha-Bar Beach Honeymoon Island.
Set within The Heart of Europe on the World Islands archipelago, Buddha-Bar Hotel & Floating Villas and Buddha-Bar Beach Honeymoon Island will mark the brand’s hotel debut in the Middle East. Currently, the Buddha Bar brand operates restaurants in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah. Plus, existing hotels are located in Armenia and the Czech Republic.

The upcoming properties will feature a bespoke design, mixing global culture with spacious and sensory space. Buddha-Bar Hotel will be an overwater property, featuring 162 keys and boasting artsy interiors and a luxurious setting overlooking the waters of the Arabian Gulf. Expect to see natural materials and tech-infused within the design.
Just a short stroll away from the hotel will be the Buddha-Bar Beach Honeymoon Island. Designed as a round-the-clock hub, this destination offers a beautiful blend of barefoot luxury and bohemian vibes. Think Mediterranean design, cocktails and DJs spinning top tunes. Whether you prefer sunrise yoga sessions or epic sundowners, Buddha-Bar Beach Honeymoon Island is poised to become a favourite party destination in the city.
The project is expected to be developed within the next two years. However, an exact opening date is yet to be announced.
