Dubai is set to welcome the new dining destination, District 8. Located in Dubai Marina, it will include three new concepts: Blume, Luxuria and Rodina. Created by Alex Investment Group, the area brings a touch of Russian opulence to the city and is scheduled to open in November.
Blume showcases Mediterranean cuisine with international and Japanese influences. The sleek and stylish interior draws inspiration from the Mediterranean. The venue boasts a botanical vibe and includes a terrace overlooking Dubai Marina. Plus, it will include a DJ playing house music, a drinks menu with handcrafted cocktails, and an artisanal shisha selection.
Rodina is a fine dining restaurant, which blends together Mediterranean and Russian influences. Each dish is crafted with a cross-cultural approach, which combines traditional techniques with modern flair. The menu will include Russian staples and Mediterranean creations, and includes high-quality ingredients from barbariska to zefir. The dishes will be served on exclusive Christian Dior plates. Plus, the live entertainment includes DJ performances, Russian singers, karaoke and dancing.
Luxuria is a nightlife venue is a Russian karaoke lounge. When you’re not performing, you can can enjoy live entertainment from international singers, and stand-up comedy shows take place twice a month. The venue draws inspiration from Russia, and includes rich textures, state-of-the-art lighting and screens. If you’re feeling shy, there are private karaoke booths available, so you can unleash your inner diva.
