Bitter Honey
The lobby bar at The Lana – Dorchester Collection will celebrate Negroni Week 2024 with a tremendous tipple. Inspired by the Boulevardier cocktail from 1920s Paris, the Vanilla Butter Washed Boulevardier offers a sweet beginning and a smooth espresso finish while preserving the classic Negroni essence. For an extra thrill, the Heated Thorn Negroni delivers a bold experience featuring chilli and dried hibiscus-infused Se Busca Mezcal Reposado, Campari, and Cocchi Rosso. Popular Japanese restaurant OKKU is adding a new cocktail to their menu for Negroni Week. The Negroni, originally created in 1919 in Florence, Italy, has been a favourite for over a century. The mixologists at OKKU have reimagined this classic with a Japanese twist, serving Roku gin infused with Shiso leaves and redistilled using rotavapor before being elegantly served in a syphon. Reif Japanese Kushiyaki
Chef Reif Othman is famous for his unconventional spin on Japanese food and has a loyal following, not to mention several FACT Dining Awards. The licensed location Dubai Hills has a spectacular selection of sushi, ramen, kushi (skewers) and arguably one of the best sando interpretations in the city. For Negroni Week 2024, the bar will serve seven specially crafted Negronis.
