The event takes place at Sharjah Research and Technology Park.

Nineties kids, it’s time to don the double denim – we’re not judging. The 90s by RBO is coming to Sharjah, and brings back the music, movies and moments from the decade. Running from 12 to 23 February, it will take place at Sharjah Research and Technology Park and here’s what to expect.

The 90s by RBO is a family-friendly event that draws inspiration from the 90s and features five fun zones that cover fashion, food, music, and entertainment.

The immersive experience includes memorabilia from the period, and makes you feel like you are stepping back in time. Expect a gaming spot, which has old-school arcade games from the period – a Game Boy and PlayStation, anyone? Look out for VHS tapes, flip phones, scrunchies and more.

On Instagram, The 90s by RBO has been teasing its followers about what to expect with a range of images and videos. One video shows a teenager wearing Converse trainers, sat in her bedroom surrounded by posters, and putting on headphones to a Walkman. Another image shows the actor, Macaulay Culkin, in his iconic pose – with his hands on his face – from the Christmas classic, Home Alone

If you’re looking for more things to do in Sharjah, there are a range of new cafés and restaurants. Baitna Cafe has opened and prides itself on being the highest floor speciality cafe in the UAE. Plus, RollDXB is bringing a pop-up to Sharjah with a fun-filled roller-skating experience.
